Bride

Back in November 2010 Bobby, Chris and I went on our first family vacation. As Chris was sharpening his photographic skills he wanted Bobby to "pretend" to propose to me on the beach with a seashell. Bobby and I explained to him that some things are just not right to pretend and when you do somethings you should only do them once....

Flash forward to May 2011. We were all three at home one evening.... Chris got his guitar and started playing softly while Bobby got down on one knee and asked me to marry him at Chris' urging.... I said yes - tentatively - but also stated that he/they needed to ask my father's permission and it wouldn't be official until my father agreed....

May 27, 2011 Bobby took Chris, my mom and dad and I out to dinner at Seven Springs for my birthday. Bobby asked my father's permission for my hand in marriage (at the dessert bar i learned later!) and my father agreed.

After dinner Bobby proposed to me at the table with Chris, my mom and dad as witnesses. He placed a beautiful ring on my finger, much to my surprise! I asked him how he knew what size to get, because it fit so perfectly. He responded, "It was my mother's ring." I immediately thought "how blessed I am and how fate would have it be the perfect size!" (Thank  you, Jean!)
